Even though it wasn’t so easy to make the appointment due to mitigating circumstances of the day,
not only did he made time for me,
and as always he does AMAZING work (which comes along with the comfort and the professional explanation re nuances that only someone with his years of expertise can provide!),
but this, along with the amazing energy of his assistant Chrystal, and the awesome music only added to the positive atmosphere of it all.

He is also extremely insightful and thorough with everything he does and take the time to explain why he is doing what he’s doing. Dr. Veligdan is a true gem of a dentist, and I believe he is truly special among dentists in NYC. First of all, I know of no other dentists who combine his extensive knowledge of holistic dentistry with expertise in more traditional dentistry. With him you do get the best of both worlds. I know of no other dentists like that. Also, perhaps more than any other dentist, he is amazing at explaining to his patients why he is doing what he does and how things work. No one else does that the way he does. He does not try to upsell you anything and he has a very kind and easygoing bedside manner. His prices are very fair and reasonable and he always goes above and beyond in delivering excellent service and value to his patients. For example, he personally does some of the services that many other dentists would assign to a dental assistant. He is incredibly friendly and kind and makes dental visits fun and enjoyable rather than something to dread. My teeth and gums always feel great after a visit with him. A+++ dentist. Cannot recommend highly enough.

And also his assistant Crystal is a true godsend and saint. He definitely found one of the best in the biz when he hired her.

This office has been the best office I have ever gone to. Dr. Veligdan and his staff were very friendly. When we walk in we’re greeted by the office my manager who by the way since before meeting her and speaking to her over the phone was very friendly and welcoming. We walked in the office and she knew who my girls were without ever meeting them before and made them feel comfortable. She played with my little one and spoke to her and kept both my girls entertained while I was getting looked at. Then the dentist assistant was wonderful. My little one has sensory sensitivity and was very scared to open her mouth and the assistant was amazing and even though she didn’t get her teeth cleaned here she was sad because she wanted to. My older child was scared too but the dentist and assistant made her feel safe. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I am extremely pleased. Oh and then Dr. Veligdan called personally and remembered my girls’ names and asked how we had felt and how was the little one. Very professional. I can see why he’s won so many patient satisfaction awards!! Thank you Dr and you will def see us again. Thank you to you and your staff!
