I love to see indie health food stores thriving in this day and age.
I don't mind paying extra because I'm all about helping the little guy as opposed to big corporations like Whole Foods.
I found quite a bit of stuff that I don't find elsewhere and spent about $40 on odds and ends. It was great and amusing to see some healthy items I haven't seen in ages still in business! (Whole Foods just doesn't carry them!) There's also a wonderful incense collection.
When I got to the cashier, she seemed a bit ticked that I didn't want to sign up for the offers. I explained I wasn't from the area, with a smile on my face. Yet she copped an attitude. (She had brown hair and talons). Sometimes it seems the nicer you are, the worse it is with people. What a shame.
Another girl in the store was nice (blonde hair/tattoos).
I'm rarely in this area. I'll stop back again because I did like the store, but hopefully you'll have a better cashier next time and service with a smile. Thanks! 🙂

Incredibly rude employees that either lack the desire to have or just do not possess the social skills required to be in customer service.

Green Life Market right up the road is a far larger selection with more knowledgeable and respectful employees for a better price.

Originally, I gave this establishment a five star review; however, after my recent visit of purchasing two Ultima electrolyte powders discounted, I am a bit annoyed by the dishonesty. Employees raved about how good of a deal the $4.99 sale was for the Ultima powder containers and of course, I was delighted to get a good steal for my favorite electrolyte powder. What they fail to establish to unknowing customers, is that these powders have all expired already. This is very dishonest marketing and this should’ve been clarified in the many signs raving about the sale. This kind of information should be especially disclosed to customers purchasing because of any quality or substance issues they may encounter with it being an expired product. I don’t think that it’s safe to be selling any sort of product expired to your unknown customer to get rid of your stock. This is supposed to be an establishment that prioritizes health and good quality products, no products for consumption that’s already been expired should be pushed to customers discount or not.

The store it's self is good has pretty much what your looking for. Unfortunately the owner seems to be the only one knowledgeable in the products and every time I have visited the store he is not there and the staff can not answer my questions. I just went there and it happened again. I will not be going back. The staff should be able to help you without saying they have to call the owner and if he doesn't answer you are out of luck.

We purchased a frozen meal here and it was covered in ice and inedible. I also inquired about returning a tea here that I didn't like and they told me no because I had opened the box. No other retail store goes by those rules. They indicate that the product must be able to be resold, and yet I'm concerned even if my product was sealed that they would consider reselling something I had taken home. Their prices even for members aren't very good either. I've found fresher products and better store rules at many other small health food stores. I want to note as well that I had called about a product they claimed to have in stock and when I arrived they didn't have it. I feel they were just trying to get me into the store.
