One year ago we got a referral for my son to be sedated to get his feelings done. It took almost six months for the initial appointment to be established. It took another six months for the appointment and we told them we wanted him to be sedated. Yesterday We went to his appointment and I found out that he was not going to be sedated. My son has autism, and was born with red hair with means he is harder to numb and feels more pain. Yesterday doctor Amber convinced me to use laughing gas and novacaine. Neither one was fully effective and my poor son screamed in pain each time she shoved the (3) crowns over his teeth (and while she used the drill). His lower lip is severely bruised. It's was so bad that my ex-husband, the assistant and myself had to hold my son down during this hour long painful procedure. But Dr Amber swears he wasn't in pain...
Dr Amber called me the next day (today) to see how he was and I said next time I think full sedation would be best so he doesn't get scared of going to the dentist. I also told her about how unhappy and upset I was about my son being in pain. Her response was, OH he wasn't in pain it was just pressure... Then tell me why he was screaming and saying ow, and why you had to use novicaine a second time and even after that he was still screaming in pain, kicking his legs, trying to grab her arms so she would stop... TO ME THAT SOUNDS LIKE PAIN. She ignored my response and said we'll if he ate healthier at home he wouldn't have this problem. I told her he does eat healthy (I'm a nurse) and he brushes and flosses multiple times a day. When I was telling her this she kept interrupting me. I am going to be making a formal complaint about Dr Amber. My advice is to avoid her when scheduling!

My daughter, who has a ADHD and very frightful of dental procedures also sensory issues. Sedation surgery, so not only it took a long time to get her appointment, but while she was there They were a bit rough with her and she was kicking screaming trying to get sedated, and it took about 2 1/2 hours to complete the surgery while I was in waiting for dentist come and tell me that took her teeth out. (The original Plan was to take out her baby teeth, so her permanent teeth could grow out properly which was only two baby teeth.) So that means the dentist took not only her 2 baby teeth out, but 4 of her molars for whatever reason! the dentist told me that they "had to do that to prevent any further future complications". I was uncomfortable with that response. And I still do not get a clear explanation why they did that because that was not the plan. Now my daughter has 4 missing motors in her teeth mouth and I don't think it will grow back because those were her permanent teeth. I have tried over the past month and so to call them email them, call them and email them in MyChart to ask them why they did what they did. They never responded, not once to this day! I don't know who or how to report this to. To who who is their superior? who is should I go to a lawyer?
I don't know what to do, but I'm never taking her back there again! After ny daughters recovery, and I told her what happened, she felt the missing spaces between her teeth abd began to cry! I felt so bad and guilty as her mom for taking her there, and letting them do this to her! I know it's not mine or her fault, we trusted them abd now that trust is broken!

I have waited weeks for a call about my daughters dental surgery. I have tried calling multiple times a day for days now and not one person picked up. I left a voice mail months ago and never have they returned my call. My daughter needs dental work done before she can get her heart cath done. They claim that they are short staff on the receptionist, but the last time I went in they were all sitting there chatting away. They had missed not 1, not 2 but 3 emails from 3 different doctors. All 3 doctors tried to reach out to get my daughter in. I had to go there and person and they still almost turned me away until I told them my situation. Never once did they bother to look at the email. How can you miss 3 different emails, from 3 different doctors?
I had never, ever left a review anywhere but this is really uncalled for.

I’ve been calling them everyday and no one answers. The phone call never goes through or if it does they literally hang up. I’ve been trying for a whole year to get in contact with them and they have done a terrible job answering phones. I just want my son’s teeth looked at. They get paid to answer the phones yet they never do.
