Love this place, it has to do with the weekend parking. They are charging $40 flat rate. That will hurt businesses in the area. One of the reasons I come to that area is the cheap parking. This doesn't seem like a good idea for businesses. I still went and got my groceries, parked on the street two blocks away. I will think twice now if I'm shopping on the weekend. I told your staff and they didn't seem to know about it yet.

I’ve been hesitant to write this review because MOM’s Organic Market on New York Ave in Northeast DC feels like one of the best-kept secrets in the city. The team at MOM’s goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and their passion for the store and its products is evident in every interaction. Whether it’s a friendly greeting, offering a helping hand, or sharing a bit of product knowledge, they create a genuinely warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional shopping experience.

Now, let’s talk about the food—the heart of the matter. The fruit and vegetables at MOM’s Organic Market are always fresh and bursting with flavor. Unlike other grocery stores, which might sprinkle organic options here and there, MOM’s is committed to stocking primarily organic produce. This market is always clean, well stocked and the staff is always friendly. They have great customer service and are always willing to help find products and make suggestions about items they may have on sale or items they have tried personally. This store is never overcrowded and it’s easy to get in and out. When there is more foot traffic they always have every cashier line open and the wait is minimal. The store can be a little expensive but the products are really good quality and they’re mostly organic or responsibly sourced types foods and products. I’m a big fan of the soaps and hair care products. I like to try different items each time.

I love this place and the people here. The staff are always quick, eager and ready to help. If they don’t have an answer about a product, they WILL go find an answer for you! I had one staff go back to their computer to research and came back with an answer.

I always say that this grocery business sets the bar high and the expectations like no other, it blows whole foods out of the water.
