I wanted to happily share with the readers of this review the very fine experience I recently had with Ideal Dental in Westchase Fl and specifically with Dr Le and his entire staff. A brief re-cap: .Several weeks ago I developed late on a Friday evening, a very, very severe pain in two of my upper, adjacent teeth. Needless to say I was in excruciating pain the entire night, literally pacing the floor trying to find some kind of relief in the hope of at least being able to get a couple of hours sleep. I didn't get a wink of sleep that night. Saturday morning I was in a a panic. I asked myself; how was I going to survive this throbbing, non stop pain until Monday I assumed there would not be any dental offices open on a Saturday. In desperation however, I went on-line to see if their was anyone available to help me and give me some sort of relief. Fortunately, I found Ideal Dental, in Westchase, Fl. They DID have Saturday hours ! I called the office shortly before they closed for the day and they kindly remained there until I arrived, about an hour after I called. { I live in Spring Hill and needed to drive to Westchase, about an hour away from my home} I cannot fully explain my relief I felt when I arrived to find a staff of such, friendly, concerned, warm and compassionate professionals..... an increasingly rare experience. Dr Le was really great in every way possible ! His concern and interest in my painful situation was evident from the moment he walked into the treatment room. He was patient, understanding, took the time to clearly explain to me exactly what was going on in those two teeth and what the treatment would need to be to find relief. He extracted both my teeth { No small feat considering they are more like fangs ..very deeply rooted in my jaw bone}. I experienced very little pain, went home with very clear instructions and even received a call from Dr Le on the following Monday to see how I was feeling !! I have recuperated nicely and have nothing but the very highest praise for Michelle { his office manager} and Shey {his dental assistant} and of course the hero of my story...Dr Le !! I found his professional skill to be be second to none. Shey and Michelle could not be any friendlier, compassionate, and comforting to me throughout my difficult ordeal. I want to personally thank all of them for the exceptional care they demonstrated to me on that Saturday afternoon and I heartily would recommend Dr Les practice any one in need of any kind pf dental care.

I was charged upfront $600 with coverage all because they was trying to be proactive on cavities found for 4 teeth and I refused the fillings on all but 1 and they did a deep clean. I later was told by insurance 90% was covered by insurance and NOTHING on my bill should’ve made me have to pay CASH of $600 out my pocket. I called office in Westchase Tampa and no one is trying to do anything as far as refunding me instead everyone is playing clueless. NO ONE HAS CALLED ME WHATSOEVER TO RESOLVE!!! Iam beyond pissed.

I chipped my front tooth last night and was able to get a next day appointment on a Saturday at that! The staff was super friendly and the service was awesome! They had me fixed up in no time! Very thankful I didn’t have to miss any work to get it fixed! I highly recommend them for your dental needs!

Dr. Nguyen is very professional and what I mean by that is I've had several dental procedures with her at Ideal Dental and she thoroughly explains everything before hand and during. She continues to check on my well being during any procedure and I am very satisfied with her being my dentist. Thank you Dr and team.

It's a robbery! ... I am disputing the $257 charge from Ideal Dental because I was not made aware of their prices PRIOR to the service. It is a common practice in the US to make customer aware how much he is going to pay BEFORE he makes decision about purchasing any item or service. Ideal Dental did not tell me their rates (which I find outrageously high). They put me in the chair, made X Rays (the service I didn't need, as it was already done 2 weeks before), and wanted me to pay $427 to cement the crown. (The crown I brought with me). I was expecting to pay $50 for that (as I did a couple of years ago at a different dental office). When I refuse to pay this outrageously high bill for such a simple procedure – the manager told me that I have to pay $257 for X Rays and visit. As a result - I didn't get help, and I paid for something that I didn't need to be done. When I go to the store, or to the medical office, or to any business establishment – I ALWAYS see the PRICES FIRST. Ideal Dental is taking a different approach – to GET the SERVICE FIRST – and to pay for it LATER. This practice misleading customers. I can compare it to a robbery. I wish they would change this to a normal procedure: You tell me HOW MUCH you will charge me – and then I will decide if I want to pay for it. Please be aware!
