Walking into Dr. Peng's office, I saw that the waiting room was filled with patients. Mostly they were seniors who looked sad, agitated or worried in some ways. I was sure they would feel much better by the time Dr. Peng finished seeing them. This was exactly how I felt at my first visit with Dr. Peng. Now, several visits later, the office is very busy all the time. But the patients (including me) are always received by the doctor right on the scheduled time.
The staff works diligently as a team. They are efficient, knowledgeable and very helpful to the patients - for example: starting friendly conversations and giving detailed explanations of their procedures prior to entering the examination room. This is a great help for a nervous patient just like me who is ignorant of and emotionally scared of any medical procedure. The staff is very thoughtful, kind and caring. During the past few months of my post-surgery and chemotherapy, the doctor and his staff have taken very good care of me.
Everyone in the office (including Dr. Peng) is kind, patient, professional and compassionate. Dr. Peng is a blessing to us (the senior patients) and the community, particularly in Lower Manhattan area. We need to have more doctors like Dr. Peng, who takes care of his patients with impressive dedication, experience, high level of integrity and professional hard work.
Dr. Peng, please do not consider taking your retirement yet because we need you to look after us as long as you can. God bless you and your staff.

Dr. Peng is more than a skilled, compassionate and confidence- inspiring doctor. He is a wise counselor.

Twelve years ago he put us at ease and guided me through treatment for prostate cancer, which has not returned.

A year later he diagnosed and performed successful bladder surgery on my wife.

Last month, Dr. Peng helped us immensely when he advised and assisted us in admitting my wife to a hospital for a condition not directly related to urology. This was above and beyond ---at just the right time.
